General Situation of Bearing Industry and Well-known Bearing Suppliers in China


At present, automotive bearings are mainly used in automobiles, motorcycles and other motor vehicles. There is a great demand for bearings in automobiles in China. Bearings are the key components in the mainly assembly of the transmission, engine, axle and so on. Although bearings are only small parts, they are closely related to the reliability, safety and comfort of the whole vehicle. The average number of bearings used for assembly and after-sale maintenance of spare parts in a car is about 80 sets. From the number of supporting bearings, deep groove ball bearings, tapered roller bearings and needle roller bearings are the main bearings, accounting for 21.32%, 34.36% and 30.42% respectively; from the size point of view, medium and large bearings are the main ones.

Because the entry threshold of bearing industry is relatively low, Chinese bearing production enterprises are mainly small and medium-sized. There are more than 4000 bearing companies in the industry, of which about 1700 have formed a certain scale. Due to the relatively high requirements of automotive bearings, there are 30-50 bearing manufacturers that can supply OEM service to the automotive industry in China.

China's bearing industry is based on HRB, ZWZ and LYC. At present, China's bearing industry is headed by six leading enterprises, namely, HRB, ZWZ, LYC, TMB, QC and C&U bearings. Among them, QC mainly concentrates on the universal joint (usually including four sets of bearings) in the automotive field and the hub bearing business, which is the largest universal joint manufacturers in China; QC automotive hub bearings have entered the joint venture car supplying chain.
